The wallpapers you contributed are super nice! In fact, I've already set one as the background on my own machine. However, I do have a small concern — most of the content in these wallpapers doesn't really reflect the unique characteristics of the operating system. In other words, it's just a line of text, which could easily be swapped out to represent any other distro. For example, the default wallpaper of AnduinOS strikes a perfect balance between simplicity, aesthetics, and a resemblance to Windows. It subtly mimics Windows 11 just enough to suggest speed and familiarity. That kind of design better showcases what this distro is all about. Of course, I understand how difficult it is to design the perfect wallpaper. Personally, I’d suggest we try experimenting with real-world photography instead — though the cost might explode, haha. |

Also, and no offense intended, but the default Anduin OS wallpaper is just the blue version of Revision OS's wallpaper. Quite literally a 1:1 copy of it. I know this because my desktop PC runs ReviOS. So yeah, changing your current default would be a good idea as I'm sure you don't want to encounter any legal issues when you're just getting your awesome distro off the ground. No worries. I've got your back. |
