Clarify what makes certain characters appear when using checklist keys

A Neotropical Portal user has observed:

...the key algorithm itself does not work like I expect or at least it does not work like it does in Seinet. Right now, the key guesses what character traits you want to see. It does not do it very intelligently and this prevents the appearance of characters that are needed. For instance, if terrestrial herb is chosen for habit, then the only grouping that appears is Leaf and the only character trait is "glands on blade or petiole". If I select absent, then no other grouping or character traits appears. This is a problem. For instance, if you want to choose between Erechtites which has the character trait green flower and Emilia which has the character trait orange flower, you can't because the flower color character trait is never presented (or anything else). I know that these character traits exist because I entered them by hand this afternoon.
