@zygoballus , thanks for your question! The API is still very much under active development, but we don't have much documentation on it, nor a specific timeline for its development. We don't have a specific funding source for its development at this time, so other tools and fixes are the main priority. |

In 2022, there was much talk of building a Symbiota API and it looks like there is now a lot of API code in the GitHub repo. However, I wasn't able to find any information about this API or what its status is. Is the API currently usable at all? Is there any kind of roadmap for rolling it out? I would love to know more about it.
