Problems with your Template (Tags, Icons, Ribbon)

Hi Bryan,
thanks a lot for the amazing content on youtube and your template, which is a beast - so many useful automations and a neurodivergent-friendly workflow that resonates with how my brain is working. im amazed.
still i have some issues with owning the template fully. ive seen your videos on tags and the template.

im running obsidian on arch linux with a kde desktop. obsidian i have never used before, but im a pretty solid linux user. which (pre)requirements do i need to know to fully understanding your template ? // are there any tutorials you strongly recomment ?

specific problems i have with the template:

1. how do i add status tags (the emojis), so they get displayed whenever i try to tag anything with #tag ? // are the tags stored in yaml, if so - how do i add new tags and where is the "config" file stored ?

2. my ribbon on the left only shows some of the things i can select in the dropdown menu, even though i have selected them. workaround is adding the things that wont show through commander, which is messy though. do you know why this might happen ?

3. do you know which iconpack i need on linux to show all icons correctly ? currently the colourful squares that indicate mood status, etc. are only black/white chequered boxes. this is true outside of obsidian as well, so it must be a systemwide phenomenon. maybe you have already heard about this issue ?

4. is there any documentation regarding the automations you have implemented ? (dayli/weekly tasks, etc.)

so, i managed to resolve quite a few problems by myself and think other users might benefit

in regards to 1&3: choose any gui for inserting emojis you like (emote, etc.) and then follow: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/emojis-in-applications-are-only-black-white-how-do-i-set-only-colourful-emojis/31190/4 -- then in obsidian add a # before each new status emoji in the tag taxonmy page in the Z section of the template vault and be happy and clap your hands.

for question 2, i chose to hide a lot of the icons by choice and rather use the drop down menu to run commands but there are settings to modify this in the settings menu > appearance > interface > ribbon

for Q4 not really as of yet. ive been so utterly burnt out on things its been hard to do much more than survive lately. ive been meaning to make documentation for this stuff for a long time for the sponsors
