Even just a basic version like what is available here would be nice: |

Hi @jonzey231, implemented in #1523 and in my fork : https://sharevb-it-tools.vercel.app/illuminance-converter and https://sharevb-it-tools.vercel.app/ies-lighting-guidelines. If you want more lighting guidelines, please provide an Excel with data you want. And if you are interested in up to date version of it-tools, I made kind of a fork here : https://github.com/sharevb/it-tools (https://sharevb-it-tools.vercel.app/ and docker images https://github.com/sharevb/it-tools/pkgs/container/it-tools) |
What type of request is this?
New tool idea
Clear and concise description of the feature you are proposing
I'm currently hosting it-tools on my Unraid server and this just hit me.
A quick and easy, scrollable/searchable tool which has all the Illuminating Engineering Society's lighting guidelines and recommendations. I am a commercial and industrial lighting designer and people in my field are always having to Google these things and usually end up finding outdated, or incorrect, values when we're quickly trying to get info while auditing a space.
I could very quickly get a ton of people using this if it was just added into the Math, Measurement, or Data tabs.
Additionally, in the Conversions tab, adding a way to convert from FC to Lux would be pretty fantastic as well.
Is their example of this tool in the wild?
Honestly, none that are reliable.
