Cordova Audio Plugin not working on iOS

The Cordova Audio Plugin is not working on iOS at all. When registering the audio files the callback is never hit.

Is anyone else using this with any success?

I have been trying for the last while on PhoneGap Build and can't get sound to work on an iOS device (have not tried Android yet). So I suspect this could be related to what you are working on - but not sure as this is my first time using sound with Build. If you want to see what I have tried, you can check out https://github.com/danzen/Vault7/blob/master/www/index.html and https://github.com/danzen/Vault7/commits/master. The requirements as far as I can tell are:

1. in the config.xml:
   <gap:plugin name="org.apache.cordova.media" />
2. in the HTML call the CordovaAudioPlugin.js that I grabbed from the SoundJS site:
   <script src="libraries/CordovaAudioPlugin.js"></script>
3. register the plugin:
   createjs.Sound.registerPlugins([createjs.CordovaAudioPlugin]);
4. I am preloading the sound like usual - I assume I still need the installPlugin(createjs.Sound) on the LoadQueue. Also, not sure if I can just use a relative path.

Anyway - preloading and playing sound worked locally before the Cordova plugin, but I can't get the sound to play on the device. Best of luck with a fix - if that is what is needed.

Any updates (or thought streams) on this please? In the meanwhile we're falling back to HTMLAudioPlugin for iOS. Edit - we used WKWebView cordova plugin and used the default SoundJS plugins.

@yanshcherbakovatredspace I am coming at it from the "client" side like you, where we are hoping for a fix - or at least some direction on how to make sound work in my case with PhoneGap Build on iOS. I was working with @lannymcnie a while back to try and get one of my mobile projects to work and then vacations and other things got in the way. I have some time now so will try tomorrow and see if anything has changed, etc. [ I am getting a PhoneGap Build error trying to build my app at the moment - I reported it and they say they will contact me - so... sort of stuck at the moment ]

@yanshcherbakovatredspace thanks - just went back to it - previously it said there was just a build error - like a bug in their build and to contact them. Now it says - The following core plugin is causing the build to fail and may need to be updated to a newer version: inappbrowser. So I should be able to hunt that down - just might not be tonight... we will see - I am glad it is more specific now. Will let you know when I am back in action.

Further to my last comment, I went back to PhoneGap Build and if I remove the inappbrowser plugin it gives me the same update error for the media plugin, etc. If I delete all the plugins then it builds fine. So... I have a question posted in the Adobe PGB Forums: https://forums.adobe.com/message/8917770#8917770.

Regardless of my app build problems... I am not quite sure what the current working expectations are for sound in PhoneGap Build... are we supposed to be using the CreateJS CordovaAudioPlugin? I know I could not get that to work previously (even with the Cordova media plugin installed correctly) - see my Apr 6 post...

Okay - well, I had an old version of the plugin call in the xml - here is the new:
<preference name="cordova-plugin-media" />
So... my app builds now, but even with the CordovaAudioPlugin and the PhoneGap media plugin, my app still will not load the audio from any of the paths I have tried. The fileload event is not triggering - yet it works on my local computer:

Hey, What is the issue here? It has been 5 months. No time? I tried using Cordova Media Plugin raw and it works on iOS. But I am having issues using it through SoundJS -- which is preferred so I don't have to hack.
