When the LCP image is inside a container with vh or vw it appears too large with dimensions that do not match. Can you tell me if this has any implications?

This shouldn't have any implications on your performance.

At the end of the test, Lighthouse will resize the viewport and try to take a picture of all available content so that we can highlight relevant DOM nodes in the report. In your case this has the unfortunate side effect of stretching the LCP element.

This should only affect the diagnostic information in the report. Your LCP image didn't look like that when it loaded into the page, and the screenshot we take at the end doesn't affect performance metrics.
