i was asked by @sis0k0 to create this as a separate issue to #1433
I am unable to make use of Angular Animations even with the fix suggested in the above issue, infact things are slightly worse, now views that should be animated instead, flicker and become un-usable.

@sis0k0 already has a copy of the project that the issue is prevalent and was the one that determined that this in-particular issue is caused by AOT compilation.
