How do you checkout a tag?

I am trying to do:

git checkout v1

where v1 is a tag. But I do not see that in the Branch:

menus

[CKolkey]

You can see a list of refs by pressing y. Find the tag you want to check out, and with your cursor over it, press bb - it should be the first item on the list.

Hi @CKolkey, thanks for your reply and for the project. I just realized that with bb I do not just get a list of the branches but the tags are also included. However with y, as you said, I can see a separate section showing only the tags.
