Too difficult to open SideDrawer with swipe compared with native apps.

Which platform(s) does your issue occur on?

Android

Please provide the following version numbers that your issue occurs with:

  • All versions

Please tell us how to recreate the issue in as much detail as possible.

Swiping from the edge is pretty unresponsive - in general it's much harder to open the drawer with a swipe than what most users will be used to on Android e.g. with apps such as ASOS or Gmail which seem to have about a 1% width from the left as an activation zone.

It'd be helpful to have an activation zone setting e.g. 1% of screen width to trigger the gesture.

Is there code involved? If so, please share the minimal amount of code needed to recreate the problem.
