Can you please explain what does this .cta.json file do?

Is this documented somewhere? Is there any concern if I removed it?

With the upcoming release you'll be able to add add-ons to your app after it has been created. In order to do that we need to know the original creation settings. You're welcome to remove that. But you won't be able to use that feature after. Think of it like ShadCN's components.json fle.
