Automatically relating e-mail attachments to the same modules as the e-mail

When attaching an e-mail (either through the MailScanner or manually through Select record when viewing the e-mail, the e-mail correctly gets attached to the respective model(s).

If the e-mail contains attachment documents, these documents need to be manually related to the respective modules (in order to see them under the module without having to go through the related e-mail).

Typical use case: The prospect returns the signed contract as attached PDF in a return e-mail. (containing the identifier of the related opportunity in the subject, e.g. OPP2107). The e-mail automatically gets picked up by the scanner and related to the Contact and Opportunities module. The attached contract is only seen in the Documents module. To relate the signed contract to the opportunity, it has to be manually related to. This is tedious and often gets forgotten, which means that the signed contract does not show up when looking at the summary screen of the opportunity (in the document widget).

It would be great (make the life of the user a lot easier) of the attachments would also automatically be related to the same module(s) as documents.

Whether or not to relate attachments to the same module(s) as the associated e-mail should be configurable, ideally listing the modules to which to relate documents attached to e-mails.
