Fuzzy finder shortcut has focus issues on Windows / Linux #672

Description
To Repro:
- Tab away from the Window
- Tab back to the window
- Hit Ctrl-T to open fuzzy finder, nothing happens
- Hit Ctrl-\ twice to toggle the tree view closed and open again
- Hit Ctrl-T to open fuzzy finder, it works
This only seems to happen on Windows and Linux, no repro on OS X
