Messages bullets inconsistent between Seven and Basis

Inconsistent and not great styling of status message text left boundary with bullets. Ideally this should line up better.

What a pity, there's no sandbox (Tugboat) created for your PR. And some tests failed (totally unrelated).
But could you try to rebase your PR? The the tests should pass and (more important), the sandbox install should show up. - For easier testing.

I've reviewed the code, and one minor spacing issue aside, wondering what our policy (if any) is on mixing units (em and px in this case) and why?
