This questions has probably raised on the main site before, but I don't see any references here.
Many katas have translations in several languages. Kata ranking is based on the initial language difficulty though. That means the actual difficulty can be either higher or lower in other languages.
How feasible is the idea of having the ranking reassessed for every translation? That would ensure a more reliable dependency between ranking and actual difficulty. On the other hand, every translation would have to go through a beta stage, which means the validation will take longer. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this matter.
