Yeah being able to log into them (kinda like PayPal) would be sick. If Discord's worried about people abusing this they could make all guilds follow a predefined template (that showcases all features of course) and could disable interacting with other people (i.e. seeing messages, etc.). |

Wondering if there's any updates on this since the threads developer beta is ending. The developer beta had a good purpose, but it doesn't make sense to shut it down. Not everyone is building features for threads within a month of them being released. The same goes for any other nitro/server boost only features. The threads developer beta proves that there's a good way to let developers use premium features without it being abused. Limit the member count of the guild, making abusing free premium features a non-issue. |

It could work the same way as the recent Threads beta. Enable all guild features + give members nitro feature in that guild only if the server is under 5 members. Basically eliminates abuse (except for guild stickers but you can solve that by not allowing them to be used in other guilds). |

Suggesting to give developers sandbox early access, then restricting it to the tiny verified minority seems counter intuitive, if the goal is to establish pre release compatibility with bots and libraries. |

yeah, thats why I didn't say they use the same API, what I meant was that they use the same DBs and services, so technically they aren't isolated environments |

It'd be useful to also have this for not fully released things like per-guild avatars. An user recently reported an issue regarding that feature, but I can't test it since (while I do have Nitro) I haven't been whitelisted for the experiment. |

Seperate Guild for Bot & Lib Developers is a very good idea for my opinion. Like above said lots of Premium/Freemium Services already has seperate Sandbox APIs or Services to test and develop integrations very quickly and minimize the Bugs. If Discord decides to implement this SandBox Guild can in the early stages allow Early-Verified Bot Developers or Bot Developers whose Bot is over certain Guild threshold. But not ONLY the biggest Bot Developers like Mee6's Developers or Dyno's Developers. Discord already publishes lots of informations with them about pre-release features. Discord please consider this idea. |

Description
A sandbox mode guild for developers to test features that are otherwise premium-only (ie. locked behind Nitro or server boosts).
Why This is Needed
Currently, there's no easy way to test features that relate to store channels, Twitch integrations, premium thread features, etc.
Alternatives Considered
One alternative would be to purchase Nitro or server boosts but a tier 3 server boost can get quite expensive for a hobbyist developer. Another option would be to ask others who own servers with enough boosts to allow you to test on their server but this isn't possible for everyone. These options also don't solve the issue of not being able to test Twitch integrations since they require you to have a partnered Twitch channel.
Additional Details
Many platforms that require payments have sandbox modes, such as Stripe and PayPal. I think it would be beneficial if Discord provided something similar. The current implementation of a developer beta for premium thread features could be a great way to go about this since it prevents abuse by restricting who can join the guild.
