Git Graph and Git History plugin not working on 1.60.1

Running on debian 12
node version 20.11.1
npm 10.2.4

I use theia via the browser example. I try to stay updated. The current main branch does not allow gitgraph and githistory plugs to work.

The 1.59 to current is getting lots of errors on startup regarding menus (see below for example).

I am getting this error with no plugins and just the standard build:

to start:

I removed my .theia directory and still get the same error

Hey @mcg1103,

can you please open a bug report for this? Discussions are not actionable on GitHub. Also, it would be great if you could give a bit more context on what is not working (i.e. views, or specific other features). Do you mind linking the plugins you were trying to run on open-vsx for better reproduction of the issue?

Please also note that the warnings thrown by the ms-python.python plugin wrt. to missing menu paths are likely unrelated to the Git Graph and Git History plugin not working.

@msujew I agree they are unrelated in that they were there in 1.59 and both plugins in question worked as expected in 1.59. I originally though they were related but when I went back to 1.59 i noticed they were still there and the plugs were indeed working.

i will issue a bug report with the plugins in question.
