Bug: files-stable.exe . doesn't open current terminal path in Files #16982

Description

If I try files-stable . in terminal to open the actual folder, it does not open files with the current folder but some folder from the history.
files-stabel <folder path> works.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. open windows terminal (cmd, pwsh, powershell, ...)
  2. files-stable . to open current folder in files
  3. current folder not opened in files but a folder from the history

3.9.1.0

Windows Version

10.0.26100.3476

I thought this was already fixed recently?

It was a while ago #16642 but has stopped working again, even in Preview (3.9.3.0)
