Problem using expectRevert with pranks

I'm trying to call a function via prank before revert:

        vm.expectRevert("Pausable: paused");
        changePrank(alice);
        contract.deposit(100);

From the docs:

After calling expectRevert, calls to other cheatcodes before the reverting call are ignored. This means, for example, we can call prank immediately before the reverting call.

But whatever I try I get an error message "Call did not revert as expected". Works fine without prank cheatcode. Any tips on how can I get it to work? Thanks
