Start GUI, then open repo, then cannot return to start gui

I get really frustrated that I cannot go back from the main (2nd) dialog, back to the first opening dialog.
My suggestion is for there to be a 'CLOSE' menu item added, rather than just 'Quit'. (see GITGUI-suggestion.png)

For clarity when I start Git Gui, I get the dialog show in GITGUIforwindows1.png

I then pick one of my recent repos and then the 2nd and main dialog opens as shown in GITGUIforwindows2.png

Now I realise I opened the wrong repo and want to go back to the first dialog, but find I have to Quit out completely and start again.
OR I have done my commits/pushes, and now want to switch to another repo, but find I cannot go back to the first dialog instead I have to Quit and start again.

What I want is a way to go back from GITGUIforwindows2.png to GITGUIforwindows1.png. Is it just me?

You could put that frustration to good use. Have you had a look at the git-gui code? It's in this repository, in the git-gui/ subdirectory. I typically git grep for things like dialog labels to find out in which function a given dialog/window is created.
