jellyfin web client (default) styling/CSS breaks with plugin enabled

the scrobble/playback controls bar at the bottom disappears, and most of the UI is aligned way off to the right and down.
It almost looks like jellyfin thinks its playing on a much larger display than it is on.
Interestingly, this issue only happens when playing on a secondary monitor, and it goes away on the primary monitor.
For reference I'm using Chrome, Manjaro MATE.
The plugin was installed from inside jellyfin

Disabling or uninstalling the plugin fixes everything.
