Website hosting

The kiwix.org website is hosted out of our infrastructure, at Cyon.ch. I believe the reason was linked to the website being based on Wordpress.

With the upcoming revamp, we should clarify whether we want to host the website ourselves (on our infra) and if not, document the reasons.

Potential ones:

• have the website on a different infra allows us to communicate even during outage
• easier to setup a WAF that's tailored specifically for this
• use a managed Wordpress offer (SaaS)

Note that AFAIK our Cyon offer is Wordpress-compatible (PHP/MySQL) but it's not a managed wordpress and we have to update WP manually ourselves as well as all plugins we are using.

I see no particular reason to keep using Cyon. It was suggested back in the early days as it was known quantity to the person who setup the website, but we do not get any special treatment.
