Problem Statement

The memory function does not keep the data when the app is closed.

Evidence or User Insights

We are a manufacturer that constantly works with both Imperial and Metric units of measure. We are converting the metric units to imperial to be input into multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment. I imagine we are not the only users that perform this task daily.

Proposal

Having the memory function store the last used data input when the app closes would make using the Windows 11 calculator app easier, and efficient. Many of the programmers and operators use their Android phone's calculator app while using the Windows software. It is easier to use than the Windows 11 calculator app for the conversions.

Goals

simple feature modification to the calculator app. It will allow users to quickly utilize the calculator without the hassle of typing in data and storing it before they use the app.

Non-Goals

Low-Fidelity Concept

Requested Assignment

I am not a software developer or coder, that is for the talented genius. I am merely suggesting the concept.

If possible, I would like to implement this.
I'm just suggesting this idea. I don't want to implement it.
