I want to share super-emacs easily with non-programmers who want to, say, co-author a book in markdown with me #10

I have a friend with a mac who is not used to git, etc. I'd like a step-by-step guide for going from a 'nilla mac to one where he, as a non-git user, is ready to edit markdown files along with me.

He is used to stuff like word but not to any text editor (so he might as well learn a great one, like super-emacs, right?)

In theory, a youtube video that was designed to help either a window or mac user would be great but, as of right now, my one collaborator has a mac.

I imagine teams made up mostly with programmers, used to editing text files but one or two people might not be from our culture and super emacs with pandoc could be just the right thing for them.

(But don't turn off the menus.)

So, this could be a video, a mini-manual... or ???
