Convert device from Virtual Chassis to Device with modules

Hi, some time ago a colleague create one of our swiches as a Virtual Chassis (a cisco C4510R), since I am updating things I found out about modules, and it seems that it would be more appropiate to enter the device as a device with modules (a module for each of the cards).
Since I've interfaces, descriptions and connections on those individual devices I'd like to move them the least complex way, is there any easy way to change a device to be a module? So far I couldn't find anything

I don't think that this can be easily done. You can't "move" interfaces to another device. My idea would be to create a new device and add all the modules. Then either write a script that moves/copys the information and cables to the new device or do it manually.

Edit: Yes, a device with modules would be the best representation of a switch chassis. Virtual Chassis in netbox are used when you stack switches, which creates a virtual switch with physical members.
