Error when trying to create a new site in Netbox

We recently started experiencing an error when we attempt to add a new site under the Organization tab. Up untl today we always use a site code with a single digit separated by a dash and then a two digit number (ex 2-90). The error is complaing that the Site ID valididator takes 2 positional arguments but 3 were given. Please see attached

This is a side effect of the upgrade from netbox 4.0.9 to netbox 4.3.2. We had to update some of the backend logic we had setup to prevent people from using the same site-id twice.
