It happens when the project is handled via SCM, so there is no package to present.
We should not fail into 500 but handle the request with a redirect to somewhere or at least with a warning message about it.

just showing the scmsync URL and build results, but nothing else is most likely the right thing todo here.

Btw, it is not limited to scmsync, it also happens when using remote projects for local building (long standing regression).
