There is a lot of work being done to develop cryptographic algorithms that are "quantum-safe" and within the Linux Foundation Post Quantum Cryptographic Alliance, projects are underway to make these available via OpenSSL v3.x and TLS1.3. Just wanted to start a discussion around support for these within the Bun crypto implementation. We believe the plan is to implement the ML-KEM (CRYSTALS-Kyber) algorithm as experimental in Nodejs v22 and it would be something to help future proof Bun based applications. ML-KEM is one of the three NIST standardised PQC algorithms and suited to general network encryption).
