  • Provide visual feedback alongside "filter box" to indicate submit
  • Add a cancel button to clear text in "filter box"
  • Add a clear button to clear log messages.

The filter box indicator feels weird. It just shows up when I change something. And it's not clear whether it's an indicator or a button. Changes I would propose:

  1. Just call it "Saved" instead of a tickmark
  2. Fade it in, when the user stops typing (use a setTimeout)
  3. Fade it out, after 2 seconds
