For those seeking a CUDA driver API binding in Rust, I recommend checking out cudarc. It is currently maintained, and used by huggingface.

Another high-level Rust-idiomatic CUDA driver API wrapper is cust from Rust-GPU project. It has a nice API. It is not updated for a while but is not abandoned (yet).

Edit: Rust-CUDA is being rebooted.
