Documentation: Update and Upsert

Hi ,
in the docs https://surrealdb.com/docs/surrealql/statements/upsert#improved-performance-via-upsert-and-a-unique-index

It confuses me a little bit that why the UPDATE will scan the table and the UPSERT will not scan the table. I think it will be the same because there is an index. Please help me clarify.

And BTW, there is a mistyping in the code, the index should be "name , the", not "name, member of". Please correct it
