Hey @tov,

Thank you for your work on this crate. It's a very useful data structure.

There are a few long-standing PRs from contributors which I believe would really improve things toward making it "production ready". I understand maintaining an open-source project is not an easy task and that's why I'm proposing you consider making a call for maintainers.

I know @calebsander made good improvements already. I've been considering using it myself for a while now so I might be able to review PRs too.

Thanks again!

That sounds like a great idea to me, since I clearly don’t have the bandwidth needed right now. How does one go about calling for maintainers? Would you like to do it? Or would @calebsander?

Sure, I would be happy to help maintain the crate in my spare time. Fair warning that I don't have any experience publishing Rust crates and haven't actually used this one :). If I remember correctly, rust-lang/rust#76250 was an intriguing read and I like playing with data structures, so I thought I would see if I could contribute anything to the code.
And lol I'm used to my last name being pronounced "Sanders" in real life, but this might be the first time my username has been mixed up.

Ugh sorry about that @calebsander!

@tov I've been meaning to dive into this library for a while but I might actually have a use-case coming up now. I too saw the article linked by Caleb and though it was quite interesting. I do have some experience maintaining crates and would be willing to try helping if I can.
