That sounds like a great idea to me, since I clearly don’t have the bandwidth needed right now. How does one go about calling for maintainers? Would you like to do it? Or would @calebsander? |
Sure, I would be happy to help maintain the crate in my spare time. Fair warning that I don't have any experience publishing Rust crates and haven't actually used this one :). If I remember correctly, rust-lang/rust#76250 was an intriguing read and I like playing with data structures, so I thought I would see if I could contribute anything to the code. |
Ugh sorry about that @calebsander! @tov I've been meaning to dive into this library for a while but I might actually have a use-case coming up now. I too saw the article linked by Caleb and though it was quite interesting. I do have some experience maintaining crates and would be willing to try helping if I can. |
Hey @tov,
Thank you for your work on this crate. It's a very useful data structure.
There are a few long-standing PRs from contributors which I believe would really improve things toward making it "production ready". I understand maintaining an open-source project is not an easy task and that's why I'm proposing you consider making a call for maintainers.
I know @calebsander made good improvements already. I've been considering using it myself for a while now so I might be able to review PRs too.
Thanks again!
