Question about disabling weekends/US holidays in Date Picker

We’re using the Date Picker component in our Create Port-In Request workflow, and we’ve run into a bit of a UX challenge. Users are currently able to select weekends (and potentially US holidays), but those dates aren’t valid for our process. This leads to a frustrating experience where the user picks a date, only to be shown a validation error after the fact.

Does anyone on the team know if there’s a recommended way—or maybe a custom script—to disable weekends and US holidays directly in the Date Picker? It would be a big help to proactively prevent invalid selections.

The Paste Date Picker is a minimal wrapper around the native HTML <input type="date">, so it doesn't support disabling specific dates like weekends or US holidays out of the box. The only built-in controls are for setting min and max dates, not for excluding individual days or ranges. All logic for preventing selection of invalid dates (like weekends or holidays) needs to be handled externally, for example by validating the date after selection and showing an error, or by resetting the field if an invalid date is chosen. There are currently no built-in props, hooks, or customization options for this use case, and no existing issues or discussions about this feature in the repo. The docs mention that a more customizable Date Picker may be considered in the future, but for now, external validation is the only option. Hi @dfcontreras10, unfortunately this is not supported. We provide a styled HTML5 date input and the ability to disable certain dates is not currently implemented. You will only be able to set a min-max date range.
