For use cases of Umami in non-web applications, such as in emails and RSS feeds, the environment may not always be able to call JavaScript or make HTTP API requests.

Services like Google Analytics allow a 1×1 PNG/GIF/JPG to be embedded in media, which allow primitive statistic collection. Could something like this be added to Umami?

Can we get a status update on this? Im pulling my hair trying to implement this in my backend by sending events to umami, but it keeps reusing the same session so its not feasible

Edit: if theres a way at the moment to send event with association to session identity, please let me know!
