Option to disable/enable SWR (conditional fetch)

Currently, the only way to conditionally disable a SWR hook is to pass a falsy key to useSWR:

useSWR(null)

However, we got feedback from users that it might be good to have an option for that:

useSWR(key, { enabled: false })

It's something good to have, but also troubles me with two questions:

1. If the key depends on something conditionally, won't it be unnecessary to use an option?

useSWR(user ? `/api/avatar?id=${user.id}` : null, { enabled: user ? true : false })

useSWR(/* what should you use here? */, { enabled: user ? true : false })

2. Is it a good thing to have 2 ways of doing 1 thing?
