I guess gnupg 2.5.* might be as good an opportunity to switch to pure MSYS2 gnupg (i.e. to drop shadowing gnupg and its related packages like libgcrypt in Git for Windows' Pacman repositories). We don't code-sign the bits of this package or anything, and the only motivation I had originally to host Git for Windows-owned versions was that once upon a time, MSYS2 was way slower than me to build new versions (but that situation has been reversed in the meantime).
