Hmm seems I broke the lint (tests will fail due to the lint regression issue failing). The issue is apparently that the ty of the ItemTy always gets "visited". Investigating why this is the case...

Hmm the code is very contrived, I won't do this. Please anyone, if you want to fix it instead, just do so!
